About m-for-mc
Photography has always been an escaping tool for me.
I was born and raised in Hong Kong and spent most of my teenage years in England. At the age of 19 I returned to the University of Hong Kong to study Politics and Comparative Literature, and due to their boring nature and several unfortunate heart-breaking incidents, I used photography as my past time entertainment. Eventually my interest towards photography started to grow, and I began working as a photographer’s assistant in 2011.
In 2013, I went studying in London College of Communication (UAL), it was there I got inspired, and started working on various projects that based on my anxiety and my sense of alienation when I was living in different cities such as Hong Kong, London and Tokyo.
Based in Hong Kong, but always willing to travel and work in other major cities around the world, I am now a freelance photographer, focusing in many aspects including commercials, portraits, as well as architecture.
